INFLUENCE OF THE stimulated Brillouin scattering PREAMPLIFIER NOISE ON RECEIVING THE TRANSFORMED SPECTRUM SIGNALS

Abstract

An analysis of the influence of preamplifier noise with effect of stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) in the SNR on receiving the transformed spectrum signals was presented in this paper. The dependence of the SBS amplifier gain of the pump and the spontaneous emission noise was estimated. It is shown that impact of noise in case of high gain is negligible.
