MODIFICATION BY THE WATER SOLUTIONS OF CARBON-CONTAINING NEEDLE-PUNCHED FABRICS FOR ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION SHIELDS

Abstract

Research results of electromagnetic radiation transmission and reflection characteristics in the frequency range 0.7…17 GHz of needle-punched webs modified by impregnation with solutions containing alcohol and calcium salts are presented. The possibility of such fabrics using for the manufacture of electromagnetic radiation shields constructions with the value of the reflection coefficient -8…-10 dB and transmission coefficient to -18 dB in this frequency range is experimentally demonstrated.
